After over a year of no puppies, I feel very blessed to now have 8 beautiful baby collie puppies here.

Mercedes has 4 puppies sired by Lucas, and they are doing great. They are eating well and growing fast! They were born Nov. 29, 2023. There are 3 boys and one girl- all sable and white. Mercedes is being a great mom, thank goodness. I will post a pedigree soon. It is solid gold.

I took advantage of Lucas staying with me in September while he was here to breed Mercedes. Several of my girls came in season, and I decided to breed my sable girl Halo to Lucas. Halo is an elegant daughter of Grace and Carly’s brother Jason. I only bred Halo once, and I did not think she conceived. The last two weeks Halo started to blossom, and turned out to be pregnant. Halo had four sable puppies on December 10, 2023- one girl and three boys – same as Mercedes!

I am pretty tired looking after these puppies and moms as well as my other collie girls, but these precious collies are always worth the trouble. This Christmas will definitely be a time to stay home and count my blessings.
