I was so happy with the results of Grace’s ultrasound! Dr. Barnett counted eight puppies! I’m praying that all goes well at whelping time and the babies are all great. Grace was bred to Harry- our new champion boy from Milas Collies.
Grace is our sweet, pretty daughter of our girl- Poppy (Ch Tairis A League Of Her Own.) Grace’s sire is Ch Milas Walk This Way. Grace’s sister is the beautiful Carly owned by Lynn Butler and Lotta Hedman at Milas Collies.
Grace was bred to our new champion boy Harry purchased from Milas Collies.
This will be Harry’s first litter and we are excited to see what he will produce with Grace. Harry is owned by Margie Blount, Rosalie Ward, and Debbie Jones. We are crazy about this silly, sound- moving boy!
Grace is a tri factored, white factored sable. Harry is a tri factored sable merle headed white. From this combination the puppies can be sable, sable merle, blue merle, tricolor or white with any of those markings.
Both Grace and Harry are mild CRH, PRA and DM clear, MDR1 M/N, and low risk DMS.
Puppies are expected about July 17th. I’m praying all goes well.
Here is the pedigree. They puppies should be beautiful!
Some of Grace’s puppies are already spoken for. Email me if you would like more information. tairiscollies@yahoo.com
We are interested in getting a puppy from the litter due July 17th
We have always had collies, and have raised them. Right now we have an older female and would love a puppy she could help train. She is very smart..Our sable collie who recently and sadly died ( age 13 and a half.) was her life mate. She has been quite lonely for him! Would love a collie pup!
Wow ! I live in Lewisville, Tx. and have had collies since the age of 10. It has taken a number of years to find the courage to start again after my magnificent tri-colored collie “Apollo” passed away at 10 years old from cancer. I am a retired teacher and I am looking for another opportunity to start the process one last time with a collie puppy. Perhaps providence led me to this post?
