First of all, I want to thank Margie Blount who is the co-owner, main caretaker, and one of the people showing Mr. Lucas, also known as Milas Tairis Commander’s Stardancer. This yearling boy from Milas Collies was a very cute puppy, and is growing up into a handsome lad. He has been a charmer since the day I picked him up, and gets more so all the time. Lucas picked up major wins at the Collie Club of Austin, and the South TX Collie Club in February. He has added two more winner’s dog placements recently at the Humble shows. In fact, he was awarded not only winner’s dog at the Sunday show, but won over all three champion collies there to go best of variety for another major. Judge Fred Basset was very complimentary of Lucas. Mr. Basset was also judging the herding group on Sunday. Margie took Lucas with her to rest in the A/C in the car until it was time for him to go to the herding group competition. Unfortunately, Margie didn’t know the order of group judging had been changed, and missed the herding group judging. Oh well, she made it to the owner handled group and Lucas got a Group 4 there. If we counted his points correctly, Lucas just needs four more single points to finish his AKC championship. Go Margie and Lucas! He is entered in a few more shows coming up. We are hoping he will be a champion soon.

Amber’s puppies have had their hearts checked, eyes checked, and have begun to go to new homes. It is a little complicated when a litter is owned by four people but now we have an understanding on which puppies are available. The Amber/Jax puppies are very nice– as are the Leena/ Jagger puppies.
The pretty puppies shown below are now available to great homes. They all have wonderful temperaments, sound bodies, and good temperaments.
Luka- a beautiful sable boy, nice enough to show, available to a great family home.
Caring for five puppies at home is a lot easier than looking after 15 babies! It looks like we all survived a two litter winter as spring is right around the corner. It has been mighty difficult at times with my husband seriously ill, but playing with puppies is a great stress reliever! I know blue bonnets will soon be popping up, and that means collie pictures in the blue bonnets!
I am interested in either Luka or Pinky.
Good evening,
After reviewing your page, I am interested in the puppy, Luka. Is he still available?
Thank you!
Debbie. Enjoyed your story and photos of your pups and adults. I showed a yorkie and an Arabian horse while living in Alaska. (From DFW originally). Back in Texas now, 45 miles west of Austin and still working , but am pursuing retirement with a future in investing in co-ownership and/or handling/grooming/showing. I have owned shelties- just rescues, but fell in love with the breed and came across your webpage while searching today. Just wanted to let you know, you have some beautiful dogs. I like the looks of Willow, beautiful coat/presentation..thanks for sharing.

I would love to correspond with you about future litters. We are looking to make an addition to our family, and would love that addition to be one of your collies!
I would be happy to talk to you about planned litters. Please email me at tairiscollies@yahoo.com
Please send us information on puppies available as family members. We have had the privilege of having two tri colored rough collies in the past and are fully aware of their needs and personalities. They are lovely dogs and very well suited to our lifestyle.
Hi Marsha,
We may have some show bred collie babies born in June 2020. Some could be available in August. I will be saying more when pregnancies are confirmed. You can email me at tairiscollies@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Debbie
